Mountain CAP of WV, Inc., a CDC's Multi-Family Rental Housing program is based on income guidelines and eligibility established by HUD.  Tenants may qualify for subsidized housing which helps a family with low income to obtain and maintain housing.

Families submit applications for the rental housing of their choice and eligibility is based on income level, criminal background checks, credit history, and references.  Once approved for rental housing, if a unit is not available, clients will be placed on a waiting list until a unit becomes available.  Clients considered extremely low income are given priority on the waiting list.

We require that at least 40% of our units be extremely low income at the time of move-in.
