Mountain CAP of WV, Inc., a CDC's Asset Development program offers education and assistance to its clients who are in need of financial help. These programs include:
The free financial literacy courses offered through Mountain CAP's Asset Development program are designed to educate participants in a variety of basic and advanced financial topics and to promote fiscal responsibility.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) was developed to aid low- and middle-income families in filing their tax returns for free, while focusing on the credits available to them.
The Business Lending Program provides micro-entrepreneurial loans and business development assistance to create or retain jobs through new or expanding business within Barbour, Braxton, Clay, Fayette, Gilmer, Lewis, Nicholas, Randolph, Roane, Upshur and Webster Counties.
