Repair and Replace Program

Mountain CAP Repair and Replacement Program (RRP) serves to repair or replace heating systems and/or A/C for individuals and families with low incomes. The RRP Program is funded by the Department of Human Services (DoHS) and Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
 

Program Guidelines:

  • Households must be at or below 60% of the state median income

  • At least one member of the household MUST be: 60 years of age or older OR 5 years of age or younger OR Disabled

  • Must have a non-operable or severely malfunctioning and/or unsafe heating system that endangers the
    household

  • You are using portable heating devices as a primary source of heat

  • You are using unvented gas/propane heaters as the primary source of heat

  • Household must own their residence - This program cannot serve rentals at this time.
