Mountain CAP’s Family Support Center is dedicated to serving the needs of Braxton County families. The purpose of the Family Support Center is to strengthen parent/child relationships, provide supports parents need to be good nurturers and providers, and to gain or maintain self-sufficiency. The Center serves as a welcoming hub of community services and opportunities.

 

Programing is designed to strengthen families and to reflect and be responsive to the specific needs, cultures, and interests of the communities and populations served so that families can improve their well-being and meet their children’s needs. We offer community-based services aimed at reducing the risk of child abuse, child neglect, and juvenile delinquency by promoting nurturing families and preventing at risk families from having children removed from the home.
